Awesome April

Hey blog! How are you? I can't believe that my last post was 2 months ago, and that I have enjoyed April so much that I lost time to write about it. Well then, hayaan mo akong bumawi.

Oh April, you're such a wonderful month. I've been blessed that it's too overwhelming. Not only that I turned a year older (again!), but this is indeed a life-changing month, a complete turn-around.

So, where have I been again?

Last April 5-7, I got the time of my life when I attended the 20th International Leader's Conference of CFC Youth For Christ. It was a mere trip with my liveloud buddies Feona, Gail and Angel, that I almost backed out, but with Angel's convincing powers (thanks dear!), and my kindhearted boss who approved my leave, I made it! So with my PCG friends whom I spent the height of my teenager years with, we joined the 9,000 delegates to worship Papa God and have fellowship with our brothers and sisters, just like how it was 7 years ago. :)

First ILC I have attended, Claiming the Promised Land, which was 11 years ago!

pretty sisters!

I'm really thankful to my sisters Feona and Angel for this fun-filled weekend (and for the pictures, too). At talagang naisingit pa natin ang movie date within the conference hihi. and of course, I am really thankful to Papa God for allowing me to be there. A conference is never without God's message and promise. And for this conference, since Day 1, He affirmed me that there is nothing in my future that I shall worry about. He has been faithful and He will always be. God reminded me again that I am blessed, and that all I must do is to be excited to what lies ahead.

And the next days of the month confirmed that promise.

it's payback time

When I was younger and was still active in YFC, I was soooo blessed with opportunities to attend the yearly ILC, or International Leaders' Conference. I have religiously attended the conference from 2002-2009, sometimes I have really saved my allowance from school just to have registration fee of P1000.00. I was also blessed with my beloved couple coordinators (our advisers) who sponsored my "reg" just to attend. And one of the best ILCs I have attended was in 2006 which was held in Davao, which my papa paid all my airfare. :)

I can go and on with countless memories on how YFC has truly colored my life, and that the ILC experiences will always be memorable to me. And this year, on it's 20th, ILC is happening here in Manila on April 5-7, and together with my YFC sisses, I am attending as a delegate. weeee.

And since we have been soooo blessed by Papa God with our current jobs, my liveloud buddies have agreed on sending 1 more youth each to the conference. weeee! I'm excited for this youth I will be bringing to have that Jesus experience, that's priceless. That's Amazing. I'm excited to be in the mountaintop of glory once again. I'm excited to be a kid again.

I just hope my leave gets approved, then. It will be. I claim and believe. :)

#seetheSONriseinManila!

**this was posted in my Multiply during the height of my service as YFC Laguna's provincial youth head, after attending the International Leaders' Conference in Tagaytay. nice to look back to those days.**

I can say that I was really reluctant to go to the ILC...i almost gave my slot to the younger yfcs....sobrang feel ko, i shouldn't be there for reasons of guilt, responsibility with other aspects of my life, at hiya sa parents ko...but then, i should go. i really have to go. i need to be there. not only because i'm a leader and kailangan ako ng mga alaga ko. but also because, kailangan ko tlaga bumalik. i've been away from God the past months...and this should be the moment that i will come back....

bsta, the ilc was sooooo great... i can enumerate some of the amazing things that happened to me while i was there,...while i was in heaven.....

  11. GO LAZON prin eh!
  12. awarding.... MOST ORGANIZED DELEGATION ang LAGUNA?!?!?! HUWAAATTTT!!! DI NGA? until now, di pa rin ako makapaniwala.... amazing talaga si God....

  15. YELLOWCAB!....thanks ulit kuya JC!!! tsalamat sa libre...
ahaaaayyyy..... i'm really not good in describing things...basta, ang saya..... although pagbaba ko from heaven, andun pa rin ung mga problems that I have to face....but this time, i'm so much equipped with God's love....that He'll be with me come what may....
